CMA Howfyl-Broadfield Plantation Field Trip
January 25 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Free- Attendees will arrive at our visitor center where we have a museum, gift shop and film. Then enjoy a 10 minute walk from the museum to the plantation area through a grove of live oak trees. There will be a guided tour of the interior of the plantation house, which is furnished with original antiques left to us by Ophelia Dent upon her death in 1973. There will also be a tour of the outbuildings (enslaved cabin, kitchen, ice house/smoke house, barns, and more.)
