DESCRIPTION:From Flannery O’Connor’s published collection of letters from 1948-1964\, The Habit of Being\, the FOCCH staff selects novels\, plays\, short stories\, and essays that Flannery read and discussed with her correspondents to read and discuss with you in the parlor of her childhood home. Our winter selection is “The Tailor of Gloucester” written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter\, one of Flannery’s favorite authors from childhood! \nPlease join us to discuss this heartwarming Christmas tale and to savor some holiday treats at 6pm on January 5th in the parlor of our little museum. This club meeting will be moderated by Kimberly Angle\, award-winning teacher and Flannery O’Connor scholar. \nReservations are recommended as capacity is limited.
